Scott McMillin

Raw materials and the process of transforming them is a key element throughout Scott McMillin’s art.  In his current work these two components, materials and process have become a primary focus. Using discarded car parts and scarp metal, McMillin creates low relief artworks from society’s cast-offs.  Cutting the scrap into squares and rectangles and rearranging them into geometric patterns and free form abstractions.
